Child and Family Therapist / Social Worker

Natalie is a registered social worker with over 20 years’ experience working with children, adolescents, and families across a range of settings, including the not-for-profit, public health, education, and community services sectors.

She works from a trauma-informed, strengths-based perspective, supporting children to explore and process challenging emotions and experiences. Natalie is passionate about working collaboratively with children and their families to address areas of difficulty and support positive, sustainable change.

Natalie’s areas of interest include childhood trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, challenging behaviour, and neurodivergence.

Natalie utilises a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Child-Centred Play Therapy (CCPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), behavioural analysis, and Collaborative Problem Solving.

A committed lifelong learner, Natalie is currently undertaking postgraduate studies in psychology. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, cooking, and spending time in the garden.
