Child and Family Therapist / Social Worker
Ashley holds a Bachelor of Social Work and has been working with children and families for over a decade in mental health, case management and leadership roles.
She has had the opportunity to practice as a social worker both throughout Australia and
internationally, and has worked in complex infant, child and adolescent mental health settings, as
well as providing therapeutic support to students in schools.
Ashley has experience in working with children with additional needs including neurodiversity.
Having worked with children for over a decade, Ashley has understanding of the power of play in
helping children to not only grow and meet their milestones, but to give children a tool to
communicate, process and integrate big feelings.
Ashley believes all children, caregivers and families hold unique strengths that they can use to meet their goals.
Ashley holds knowledge of trauma informed and family inclusive practice.
In addition to a Bachelor of Social Work, she also holds a Certificate of Play Therapy and is a trained Tuning Into Kids facilitator.
