Natalie is a registered social worker with over 20 years experience working with children, adolescents and families in the not for profit, education and community services sector.
Natalie works from a trauma informed, strengths perspective to support children to explore and process challenging emotions and experiences. Natalie is passionate about working alongside children and their families to address areas of difficulty and affect positive, sustained change.
Natalie’s areas of interest include childhood trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, challenging behaviour and neurodiversity. She utilises a rich palette of evidence based therapeutic modalities, including dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), behavioural analysis and collaborative problem solving.
Natalie is a keen lifelong learner and is currently undertaking postgraduate studies in psychology. In her spare time, Natalie enjoys hiking, cooking and pottering in the garden.
